Let's discover the Material Handling System line

In addition to the range of band and circular sawing machines ideal to cut various metals, Mep designed the Material Handling System line - an integral part of the production process - which is characterized by its heavy-duty and customizable structure.

The Material Handling System aims to make the management of the material cut or to cut more efficient, thus increasing the productivity and optimizing the use of resources and space. This line goes from idler and motorized roller conveyors - able to work with Mep or other sawing machines - to a wide range of accessories that can be customized according to specific cutting needs. Thanks to the possibility to customize roller conveyors and their options, the conveyors are available in the standard and "weathered" versions - the latter is ideal for outdoor installations.

In addition to the different types of roller conveyors, the MHS line is also composed of other products that, as well as the accessories, can be added even after the installation. Among the main product categories there are various versions of squaring vice to obtain different levels of automation of the cutting line, staging skids available in different sizes and, finally, solutions for measuring the pieces. As far as the range of measuring systems is concerned, it was recently expanded thanks to the launch of some new models allowing the measurement of the piece not only through stop device but also through progressive bar feeder.

Therefore, MHS products allow a use that goes from the simple material handling in combination with the sawing machine to a high level of automation of the entire cutting line with minimum operator intervention. The level of automation is also determined by the control selected to handle the systems - two different controls are currently available.
